Remote Learning

In the event that your child is unable to attend school during the Covid 19 Pandemic, your child's tutor will provide you with remote learning activities suited to your child's individual needs.
Every child will receive a timetable which will help provide a consistent structure to your child's day while they are at home. There will be suggested activities to do with your child at set times.
In addition, subject teachers will provide work in line with their plans for delivery of the curriculum in school. Your child's tutor will discuss with you the best way for your child to access these activities. This may be through weekly delivery and collection of work packs, access to online platforms such as lexia, mymaths and purple mash, 1:1 tuition via Microsoft Teams, or a combination of all of these. School will put regular updates on social media platforms with suggestions of well being activities to help you and your child stay healthy through challenging times. A member of staff will make telephone contact with you regular - once per week as a minimum - to check welfare and offer further advice or guidance on remote learning.

Although this work will be refreshed regularly, please contact the school should you require anything in addition to these resources or are in need of paper-based work.

Students can gain access to the internet and Microsoft Office via the web browser of SMART TVs and certain games consoles. A keyboard and mouse can, in some instances, be connected to make working on these devices easier. For those students who have a PlayStation 4/5, XBox One or XBox Series X/S please click on the YouTube video below that explains how this works:
