BTEC Public Services

This course is an ideal option for those considering work in the various services such as the Police, Prison Service, Fire and Rescue Services, Royal Air Force, British Army, Royal Navy and Civil Services. The course is disciplined and practical and offers a wide range of subjects that will prepare students for careers paths. It offers a range of practical experiences, team building and leadership tasks, sector visits and health & fitness.

Type of Assessment:

Pearson BTEC Level 1 is a portfolio-based assessment programme that allows students to submit coursework on specific dates throughout the academic year. Assessment comes in a range of forms, and includes essays, practical assessment and observation, class tests presentation discussions and practical projects.
